Moniga del Garda

The city of Moniga is located close to the main road, and it is overlooked by a castle situated on a hill. As compared with other cities, Moniga stands out not by its fairly long beach, but by its vineyards and olive tree groves which are opened to visits.

Plenty of boat rental centers can be identified in the port of Moniga, which means people keen on adventures will not be disappointed. Plenty of restaurants where traditional Italian dishes can be sampled are also spotted here.

Manerba del Garda

Manerba is, as land formation, an area standing out by a somewhat higher altitude, suddenly rising from the waters of Lake Garda. The localities of which the area consists are small settlements and, at least as some believe, do not have any special tourist significance.

Manerba doesn’t either deliver great satisfactions to people keen on exploring fashionable shops or on idling away at open-air restaurants. On the other hand, Manerba is an ideal destination for tourists in search of a quiet place, in the very bosom of nature and traditions, with the beaches and hills which, far from the urban hustle and bustle, are able to provide exactly what this category of tourists want.

Visitors of Manerba must not miss out the Church of Saint Lucia, the Church of Saint Giovanni Battista, the Parish Church of Maria Assunta, the medieval castle, or the Museum of Archeology located in the city.
