Malcesine is a city which stretches at the foot of Monte Baldo (the highest peak within the region of Lake Garda), and its most significant tourist attraction refers to the castle located on the lake shore. We speak of Castello Scaligeri.

The port and the surrounding area are replete with old buildings and narrow streets dotted with shops and boutiques.

There are plenty of places where tourists can relax and contemplate nature in Malcesine, but one activity most tourists visiting Malcesine prefer to indulge in refers to climbing with the funicular railway to Monte Baldo. People lucky enough to visit Malcesine in fine weather conditions, with clear sky and reasonable visibility, will never forget the scenery they are to contemplate. Boat trips on Lake Garda stand as an opportunity worth considering, since such trips offer tourists the prospect of both admiring the nature set and enjoying the beauty of the city which, seen offshore, seems like cut out from a painting.
